Electrical Maintenance Technician “A” 

Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 3pm-11pm
Pay: $20.00 – $33.00 per hour, based on experience 

Job Summary 

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician “A” to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping maintain and repair industrial machinery while ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability. 

What You'll Be Doing 

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician “A”, your core responsibilities will include: 

Electrical troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and repair industrial equipment using schematics, ladder logic, drives, and servo systems to minimize downtime. 

Preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, facility systems, and plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency. 

Mechanical system support: Assist with repairs and maintenance involving mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as needed. 

In addition, you will also be expected to maintain maintenance inventories, document repairs and issues, recommend process improvements, and follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. 

What We're Looking For 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following: 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent  

  • Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery  

  • Experience working with schematics, ladder logic, drives, and servo systems  

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems  

  • Experience with a preventative maintenance program  

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally  

Skills: 

Electrical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair complex industrial electrical systems using schematics and logic. 

Preventative Maintenance: Strong understanding of maintaining machinery to ensure reliability and reduce downtime. 

Problem-Solving & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively, work within teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
