Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Electronic Assemblers
in Ann Arbor, MI for a unique opportunity in a cutting-edge lab environment. This role involves working with extremely small components under a microscope to support advanced technology in neuroscience and research. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent hand dexterity, and is looking for a long-term career in a clean, professional setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Electronic Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Precision Assembly: Handle and assemble extremely small electronic components using a microscope.
- Micro-Tool Operation: Use specialized tools such as vacuum pens to pick up and place tiny parts.
- Quality Focus: Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of assembled components.
- Lab Work: Perform work in a seated position within a clean, temperature-controlled lab environment.
Additional duties may include supporting team projects and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electronic assembly, fine-detail work, or similar fields preferred
- Experience with arts & crafts, jewelry making, or small component handling is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong desire for a long-term career opportunity
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Exceptional hand dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work with extremely small components for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a seated position throughout the shift
- Ability to maintain focus in a moderate-to-slow paced environment
