Electronics Technician
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 6:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $18.00/hour+
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting production by testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating complex electronic assemblies, ensuring high-quality, reliable products for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Electronics Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
● Testing complex electronic circuit boards using engineering schematics or test instructions to ensure units meet specifications.
● Calibrating, testing, and inspecting completed units and new products to maintain quality and functionality.
● Diagnosing and repairing electronic defects, including customer returns, and documenting all corrective actions in the NCR/RMA system.

In addition, you will also be expected to operate functional and in-circuit testers, maintain defect logs and SPC charts, identify safety hazards, and support training for new operators.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
● High school diploma and a two-year technical degree (or equivalent military/civilian training)
● Working knowledge of electrical theory
● Minimum two years of on-the-job electronics training or equivalent experience
● Experience in circuit board assembly
● Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
● Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Skills:
● Diagnostic Skills: Ability to use meters, oscilloscopes, and testing equipment to troubleshoot and verify performance.
● Soldering & Repair: Strong soldering skills and the ability to perform precise circuit repair.
● Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computers and recommended experience with microcontroller development systems such as Microchip MPLAB X.
