We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation and upkeep of CNC equipment. This role is critical to ensuring optimal performance, safety, and longevity of our production assets. The ideal candidate has experience working in an industrial or hydraulic environment and is comfortable performing fluid maintenance, machine support, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Accountabilities
•Refill oil reservoirs of production equipment to maintain consistent fluid levels and prevent equipment downtime.
•Inspect and top off coolant levels of production equipment.
•Identify equipment abnormalities or potential failures and submit maintenance requests into the system.
•Empty and manage chip hoppers across the facility to maintain cleanliness and safe operations.
•Assist in routine maintenance tasks and support the maintenance team as needed.
•Follow all safety standards, operational procedures, and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
•High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or hydraulics preferred.
•1+ year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
•Working knowledge of hydraulic, coolant, and lubrication systems.
•Ability to use hand tools and safely operate around industrial equipment.
•Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
•Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor in a shop environment.
•Familiarity with maintenance request systems.
•Basic troubleshooting skills for hydraulic or mechanical systems.
•Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
•Ability to work in an Industrial shop environment with exposure to hydraulic fluids, coolants, and metal chips.
•Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
