Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Equipment Sanitor to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. This position is critical to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for producing high-quality food products.
What You'll Be Doing
As an
Equipment Sanitor
, your core responsibilities will include:

Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to company standards and schedules.
● Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning and inspection.
● Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness and report any equipment or sanitation issues
.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow all sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices, properly use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
● Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food manufacturing experience
● Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a wet, cold, or humid environment
Skills:
●
Bilingual Language usage (Spanish/ English).
● Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
● Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings as needed.
