that meet company standards for appearance and durability.
What You'll Be Doing
As an
Experienced Wood Finisher
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing wood surfaces: Sanding and prepping furniture and components to ensure smooth, consistent finishes.
- Applying finishes and coatings: Staining, painting, and applying protective coatings to wood furniture pieces to meet quality standards.
- Operating finishing equipment: Safely using spray guns and related equipment to achieve consistent, high - quality results.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a
clean, organized, and safe work environment
, collaborate with team members, and assist with
minor maintenance of finishing equipment
as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a wood finisher or in a similar finishing role
- Experience with spraying and staining wood furniture
- Ability to work full - time on 1st shift and overtime as needed
Skills
- Attention to detail: Ensures finishes meet visual and quality expectations.
- Equipment proficiency: Ability to safely and effectively operate spray guns and finishing tools.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work efficiently in a production environment.
