This is a great opportunity to work with a company that specializes in industrial sheet metal work and installation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating metal working machines
- Experience with fabrication (welding, riveting, soldering)
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to read, and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Must have at least 1-3 years of fabrication experience
- Leadership skills and ability to work well with others
- Mechanically inclined
In this is role, candidates will be working closely with the shop foreman learning the work and shop environment.
Operate metal working machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, dust collection piping, material handling systems, roof decking and sheet metal buildings.
