Workbox Staffing is seeking a dependable
Facility Maintenance Technician
with at least a year of maintenance experience to join a team in Riverview, MI. This role offers steady hours, opportunities for overtime, and potential hire-in after 90 days based on performance. If you’re reliable and enjoy hands-on maintenance work, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- General Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility.
- Tool Operation: Safely use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned work.
- Project Support: Assist with maintenance projects, including occasional travel to other facilities.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Additional duties may include lifting 50+ lbs as needed and supporting various facility improvement tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of maintenance experience or strong working knowledge of facility maintenance
- Proven reliability and strong attendance record
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends
- Flexibility to travel to other facilities when required
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in an active facility environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Shift & Employment Details
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (schedule subject to change)
- Overtime available
- Potential hire-in after 90 days based on performance
