- 1st Shift - $16.25/hr
- 2nd Shift -$16.75/hr
Shift:
1st 4:45 am to 3:00 pm Monday- Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays
2nd 2:45 pm to 1:00 am Monday- Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays
Job Summary:
As a Fill Line Technician at Bissell, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our fill lines, which produce a variety of cleaning solutions. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize line performance to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on fill lines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Troubleshoot fill line issues, identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime
- Inspect production line items for quality defects or other anomalies
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth operation of fill lines and resolve any issues that may arise
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Assist in assembling custom client orders
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and production data
Key Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Requires fluent use of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Preferred Skills
- Previous Quality Control experience
- Basic math skills
- Previous packaging experience
