Finisher 1st shift - $16.00/hr
Working for a company that services the aerospace industry. The qualified candidate will be working in a manufacturing setting doing several duties including Deburring, Polishing, Buffing, Grinding and several other duties as required.
Key Outcomes:
1. Produce Product on various machines that meet customer and company specifications
2. Measure from product at varying stages of production and record according to procedures
3. Debur, buff, grind pieces to meet quality standards.
4. Prepare products for next steps in the process.
5. Take immediate corrective action if specified requirements aren't met
Job Functions:
1. Must be able to focus with excellent attention to detail.
2. Must be able to sit or stand in the same place for extended periods of time.
3. Ability to recognize when a problem occurs and take the appropriate steps to correct
4. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
5. Ability to use basic math; calculating simple equations
6. Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
7. Must have excellent dexterity, steady hands, control precision
8. Must have the ability to move extremities in an up and down motion, unlike what a candidate would normally do.
Skills & Requirements
1. High School Diploma GED preferred; or 1 year work experience.
2. Ability to work a physical position
3. Ability to work overtime as needed
4. Previous foundry or manufacturing experience
