Finishing Technician Location: Wyoming, MI Shift: 6:00 Am – 4:00 Pm Monday – Thursday Pay: 16.00 Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Finishing Technician to join our team in Wyoming, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us ensure that all metal tubing and fabricated components meet our high-quality standards before reaching our customers. What You'll Be Doing As a Finishing Technician, your core responsibilities will include: ● Finishing & Surface Prep: Smoothing, deburring, grinding, and polishing metal tubing to ensure clean, safe, and high-quality surfaces. ● Quality Inspection: Checking parts for accuracy, defects, and compliance with specifications to maintain product integrity. ● Final Assembly Support: Completing final component preparation to ensure products are ready for shipment. In addition, you will also be expected to support production flow by maintaining a clean, organized work area and following safety and quality procedures. What We're Looking For Qualifications: ● High school diploma or equivalent ● 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or metal finishing (preferred) ● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Skills: ● Attention to Detail: Ensures finished parts meet visual and dimensional standards, preventing quality issues. ● Problem-Solving: Helps identify defects or equipment issues and takes initiative to correct or report them. ● Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools safely and effectively.
