Job Summary:
The Fleet Mechanic inspects, diagnoses, and repairs company vehicles and equipment. This role ensures the fleet operates safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, accurate repairs, and clear communication with managers and team members.

- Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Order and manage parts inventory.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Report repairs and costs to the fleet manager.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and field repairs when needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
- Able to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Experience using tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills:
- Prior fleet or heavy equipment experience.
- Automotive or diesel repair certifications.
- Familiarity with computer diagnostic tools.
