Job Summary
We are hiring a Flex Production Supervisor
to support multi-shift manufacturing operations with a focus on plastic injection molding and maintenance. In this role, you will primarily oversee maintenance operations on day shift while providing supervisory coverage across other shifts as needed.
This position plays a key role in ensuring production efficiency, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supervise production personnel and lead shift operations as needed
• Serve as shift performance owner (cost, quality, safety, throughput)
• Lead shift start-ups, assign work, and adjust staffing levels
• Oversee cell setup and coordinate mold changes per production schedule
• Monitor production data and ensure accuracy in systems (IQMS)
• Ensure first article approval before production runs
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Prioritize maintenance work orders and track KPIs
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate shift performance and updates between teams
• Initiate corrective actions when needed

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in plastic injection molding strongly preferred
• Experience with maintenance coordination or technical maintenance
• Knowledge of safety standards, including LOTO, PPE, and machine guarding
• Experience with systems such as IQMS, CMMS, or similar
