Job Summary
Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity? We’re seeking a Folding Machine Operator to join our team in Garrett, IN. In this role, you’ll play an important part in the production process by operating folding machinery to ensure products are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Folding Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating Folding Equipment: Set up and operate folding machines to fold materials according to production specifications and customer requirements.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and quality to ensure standards are met.
- Machine Maintenance: Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area while assisting with other production duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow specifications and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with machinery and making minor adjustments when necessary.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and meet production goals.
