Forklift Operator
Location: Spring Lake, MI
Shift: 1st & 3rd shift
Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and safety-focused individual looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a Forklift Operator
to join our team in Spring Lake. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping warehouse and production operations moving efficiently by safely transporting materials and supporting daily logistics needs.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse or production facility.
- Inventory Support: Assist with organizing, staging, and transporting products to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed.
- Shipping & Receiving Assistance: Help prepare shipments, unload deliveries, and verify materials against shipping documents.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all company safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Skills
Safety Awareness: Strong focus on operating equipment safely and following warehouse safety procedures.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately move, stage, and track materials to prevent errors in production or shipping.
Teamwork: Works well with warehouse and production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
