Job Title: 1st Shift Hi-Lo Driver / Forklift Operator
Location: Hudsonville, MI 49426
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (4x10s). Overtime available on Fridays, with ability to come in early or stay late as needed.
Pay: $18 /hr
Job Summary:
Workbox Staffing is hiring an experienced 1st Shift Hi-Lo Driver in Hudsonville. This is a key role supporting production and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, and providing daily production reporting. This is a perfect opportunity for a dependable operator with strong computer skills who wants a consistent 4-day schedule with overtime potential.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Hi-Lo Driver, your core responsibilities will include:
- Safely operate a hi-lo forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Support production lines by delivering raw materials and removing finished goods.
- Perform daily cycle counting and assist with inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Complete production reporting using computer programs, including Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Work collaboratively with production leads and warehouse team to meet daily goals.
- In addition, you will also be expected to demonstrate excellent attendance, work as part of the team, and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
- 2 to 3 years of forklift / hi-lo experience required. Certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and production reporting.
- Must be proficient with computer programs, including Excel.
- Ability to work a 4x10 schedule and available for overtime on Fridays.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand, walk, and drive for a full shift.
