Forklift Operator
to join our team in
Ionia, MI
. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping move products efficiently throughout the facility and prepare them for shipping.
As a
Forklift Operator
, your core responsibilities will include:
Picking Product:
Pick product per work order specifications to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Forklift Operation:
Operate a forklift to move product and load/unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Inventory Scanning:
Scan items to maintain proper and accurate inventory records.
In addition, you will also prepare items for shipment and complete all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required (Minimum 1 year)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
Skills:
Communication Skills:
Ability to speak, read, and write English and complete required paperwork accurately.
Basic Math Skills:
Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction to maintain accurate counts.
Attention to Detail:
Ensure the correct product numbers are selected and shipped accurately.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer knowledge for scanning and inventory tracking systems.
