Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Forklift/Machine Operator to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us build door frames, package, assemble, and operate machinery to produce quality products.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Forklift/Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
● Repairing and Sanding Boards: Perform sanding and repairs in a medium to fast-paced environment to ensure product quality.
● Machine Operation and Cross-Training: Operate machinery and forklifts while cross-training in multiple departments, with potential growth into a lead role.
● Production and Assembly: Assist with building door frames, packaging, assembling materials, and maintaining efficient production flow.
In addition, you will also be expected to wear required protective equipment, stand for the duration of your shift, and work overtime and weekends as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Forklift and machine operation experience
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
● Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift
● Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently
● Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments
● Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
● Must follow all safety protocols and wear protective equipment

● Measurement Skills: Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately to ensure product specifications are met.
● Math Skills: Strong basic math skills to support measurements, material usage, and production accuracy.
● Attention to Detail: Critical for repairing, sanding, and maintaining product quality standards.
● Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and adapt while working across departments.
