Job Summary
Are you an experienced and safety‑focused forklift operator looking for a stable, long‑term opportunity? We’re seeking a Forklift Operator
to join our team in Potterville, MI. In this role, you’ll support daily production by safely moving materials, loading and unloading product, and ensuring accurate inventory flow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and totes throughout the facility.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transporting materials to and from production areas to maintain workflow.
- Staging and organizing product for assembly, packaging, or shipment.
- Performing basic inventory tasks, including counting, labeling, and verifying materials.
- Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Inspecting forklift equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely in tight or high‑traffic areas.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Basic math and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
