Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a reliable, detail‑oriented individual looking for a fast‑paced warehouse opportunity? We’re seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll support efficient warehouse operations through safe forklift use, accurate order selection, and general material handling.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
- Selecting customer orders from shelves, placing them onto pallets, and loading them onto trailers.
- Safely retrieving, stacking, and organizing product using appropriate equipment.
- Operating a forklift, on‑board computer, and wireless RF system to manage inventory and order flow.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assisting other warehouse team members as requested by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.
- Supporting receiving, processing incoming stock, picking/packing orders, and preparing shipments.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, forklift, or material‑handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 60–75 lbs. occasionally throughout the shift.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accurate order selection and inventory handling.
- Teamwork & Communication: Supports smooth warehouse operations and coordination with supervisors.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Helpful for operating forklifts, RF systems, and basic warehouse equipment.
