Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team in Hart, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to manage, move, and store various materials within the warehouse while ensuring deliveries match purchase orders.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Verification: Check accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
- Labeling and Placement: Label products and place them in correct storage locations.
- Returns and Collaboration: Handle returns, complete documentation, and collaborate with departments on delivery issues.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain material handling equipment and log inventory movements daily.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1–5 years of warehouse and material handling experience
- Certification in forklift operation
Skills:
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and warehouse machinery.
- Data Entry & Computer Skills: Record inventory and manage stock accurately.
- Physical Strength: Lift and move objects weighing 50–65 pounds.
