Foundry Maintenance Technician, $16.50/hour - Spring Lake
A Muskegon foundry is seeking Maintenance Technician to join their growing team on 1st Shift! 5:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday.) Overtime may be required.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance technician experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at times may be required.
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Skills:
- Starts machines and observes mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or work
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, and jacks
- Follow the operational and safety procedures set forth.
Working as part of a team to repair and maintain machines, servicing, adjusting, and testing machines as needed on a daily basis. Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from relevant sources.
