Furniture Builder
Fruitport, MI, 1st Shift, $17.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands and building high-quality products? We’re looking for a dependable Furniture Builder to join a growing manufacturing team in Fruitport, MI. In this role, you’ll assemble metal office furniture using a variety of hand and power tools while working in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assemble metal office furniture components according to specifications and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, and wrenches
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
- Align, fasten, and secure parts to ensure structural integrity and quality
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Lift, move, and position materials up to 70 pounds as needed
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools required
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Good communication and reliability
- Ability to handle physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
