As an Electrical / Re-Wiring Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
As an Electrical / Re-Wiring Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Re-wiring and trimming: Re-wire existing systems, trim out electrical boxes, and prep connections for final install.
- Running wires: Pull, route, and secure wiring through conduit, walls, and ceilings per project specs.
- Operating basic tools and equipment: Use hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, drills, and other standard electrical tools safely and effectively.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with material handling, routine housekeeping, safety compliance, and general labor tasks that support the production team.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred but not required.
- Must be able to speak and comprehend English for safety and instruction.
- Basic knowledge with using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and work in active jobsite environments.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow all safety procedures.
Skills:
- Attention to Safety: Essential for working around live circuits, tools, and PPE requirements.
- Teamwork & Communication: Helps coordinate with electricians, leads, and other team members to maintain workflow.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Useful for understanding wiring layouts, troubleshooting basic issues, and supporting install processes.
