Job Summary
Are you a motivated and physically capable individual looking for a short-term assignment? We’re seeking an
Industrial Cleaning Laborer
to join a team at a large manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing hands-on cleaning and general labor tasks alongside the full-time staff.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an
Industrial Cleaning Laborer
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean large industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Floor & Facility Maintenance: Shovel salt, clean floors, and maintain general cleanliness.
- Material Handling: Move hoses and equipment as needed to support the team.
- General Labor: Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. In addition, you will follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and collaborate with the full-time team to complete daily tasks efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor for the duration of the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ensure cleaning is thorough and meets facility standards.
- Teamwork: Work closely with full-time staff to complete tasks efficiently.
- Adaptability: Comfortable performing a variety of general labor duties as needed.
