Location: Ferndale, MI Shift: Day Shift Pay: $16.50/hr.
Job Summary
We’re seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join a growing manufacturing team in Ferndale, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily production operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
Production Support: Assist with various production tasks, including moving materials, loading and unloading products, assembling components, and supporting production team members.
Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections of products, identify defects or inconsistencies, and ensure products meet company quality standards.
Packaging & Material Handling: Package finished products, prepare materials for shipment, and safely move materials throughout the work area.
In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures, and work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
· Manufacturing or general labor experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
· Strong attention to detail and quality.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Skills:
· Teamwork: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
· Attention to Detail: Identify product issues and ensure work is completed accurately.
· Organization: Keep materials and work areas clean and organized.
· Reliability: Arrive on time, follow procedures, and consistently complete assigned tasks.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment with a moderate to fast-paced workflow. Employees can expect a hands-on role involving production, inspection, packaging, and material handling activities throughout the shift.
