Location: Spring Lake, MI
Shift: Pay: $15 - $18/hour
Job Summary
Are you a reliable self-starter looking for steady, hands-on work in a growing company? We’re seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Spring Lake, MI. In this role, you’ll support production by coating hand tools with a custom rubber insulation process, helping ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in a clean manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Surface Preparation: Clean and prime tools to prepare them for the coating process.
- Coating Process: Place tools in a preheat oven, dip heated tools into rubber liquid, and return them to the oven for curing.
- Finishing Work: Trim excess rubber and complete final finishing of coated tools to meet quality standards.
In addition, you will also be expected to you may be moved to assist in other areas once tasks are completed. Employees must remain in the designated work area during the coating process to ensure safety and production flow.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs as needed
Skills:
- Reliable and self-motivated with strong attendance
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Painting (industrial) or powder coating experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
