Job Title Inspector / Packer
Location Sparta, MI
Pay $17/hr Shift
2nd shift 3:15pm-1:45am Monday-Thursday
Job Summary In this role, you will be inspecting and packing away plastic bags and plastic film roll stock to ensure they are ready to be shipped to the customer. You could also be building boxes, inspection bags and making and putting labels on boxes.
Responsibility
- Operate a bagging machine that converts flexible packaging
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand 8-10 hours a day
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Will be inspecting cartons to ensure the product is packaged according to specifications
- Check for quality characteristics
- Complete paperwork and documents at needed during shift
Key Qualifications
- Prior 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Read and understand work instructions
- Ability to read and write English
