- Prior press operating experience preferred
- Able to stand throughout entire shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Can bend, kneel, and stoop as needed
Skills:
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to visually detect defects
- Ability to work on feet for duration of shift
- Desire to learn
The essential functions of the job
include:
obtaining the required fixtures, die and materials needed; setting up, operating, adjusting and cleaning the press; checking the press; inspecting the parts; measuring work carefully by using precision tools; obtaining inspection for first piece approval; running prototypes based upon directions; following job instructions including blueprints, sketches, models, or other visual aids; verifying conformance of work piece to specifications
