Join a hardworking team in Sparta, MI, as a General Laborer ! This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you’ll work both indoors and outdoors filling and stacking bags of salt. Be prepared for changing temperatures—the garage doors stay open most of the day—so dressing for the weather is a must!
Join a hardworking team in Sparta, MI, as a General Laborer ! This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you’ll work both indoors and outdoors filling and stacking bags of salt. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Machine operation: Work with machines to fill bags with salt.
- Material handling: Stack filled bags on skid pallets for shipment.
- Physical work: Perform repetitive lifting and movement throughout the shift.
- Adaptability:
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing for 8–10 hours per day
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Skills:
- Basic math skills: Helpful for counting and verifying bag quantities.
- Hand dexterity:
Good coordination and attention to detail when operating machinery.
