Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a General Laborer to join our team at Global Parts Network in South Bend, IN. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us support brake parts refinishing and reconditioning processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
Brake Refinishing: Assist with preparing and refinishing brake components, including sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation to meet quality standards prior to coating or assembly.
Sand-Blasting Support: Operate or assist with sand-blasting equipment by staging parts, monitoring the process, and maintaining a clean and safe blast area while following all safety procedures.
Material Handling: Safely move, stack, and store brake components, raw materials, and finished goods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain clean and organized work areas, assist with basic quality checks, package finished parts, and support other production tasks as needed to keep operations running efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
