Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a hands-on opportunity? We're seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Benton Harbor, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our shop operations—helping ensure tools, equipment, and field crews are fully prepared for upcoming jobs while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
● General Shop & Tool Work: Safely operate hand tools and shop equipment to support daily shop needs.
● Equipment & Facility Support: Assist with sandblasting, basic MIG welding, lawn care, mowing, snow removal, and forklift operation (training provided).
● Field Job Preparation: Prep materials, clean and organize trucks/trailers, and ensure field crews have required tools and supplies.

In addition, you will also be expected to follow all safety guidelines, maintain organization, and assist the Shop Foreman with various tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
● Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on labor
● Willingness to learn new skills (sandblasting, forklift, MIG welding, etc.)
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
● Ability to bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
● Strong work ethic and reliability
● GED or High School Diploma
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
