associate to join our team in Chase, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us keep the yard running efficiently by safely operating equipment and moving materials.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Forklift/General Production
associate, your core responsibilities will include:
●
Heavy Equipment Operation
: Operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the yard.
●
Material Handling
: Load, unload, and transport scrap metal and other materials to support daily production needs.
●
Yard Support
: Assist with general yard organization to maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
In addition, you will also be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and quickly learn new tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Experience operating heavy equipment (forklift trucks, loaders, etc.)
● Knowledge of using scales
● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to work in all weather conditions
Skills:

Customer Service
: Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with team members and visitors.

Problem-Solving
: Ability to adapt and handle changing priorities in a busy yard environment.
