us ensure all production equipment and facility systems run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support overall manufacturing success.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
General Maintenance Technician,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to keep machinery operating safely and efficiently.
- Facility Systems Support: Maintain and troubleshoot key building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, sprinkler systems, fire systems, and industrial air compressors.
- Grounds & Facility Upkeep: Support overall facility maintenance including parking lot upkeep, snow removal, landscaping, painting, debris cleanup, and general infrastructure repairs.
In addition, you will also be expected to manage preventative maintenance (PM) systems,
maintain
accurate
maintenance records, organize
tools
and spare parts, and communicate equipment issues and repair status clearly and professionally.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related field
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
Skills:
- Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
- Multi-System Maintenance Experience: Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, welding/fabrication, and general facility systems (preferred).
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and communicate repair status clearly and professionally.
