us ensure all production equipment and facility systems run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support overall manufacturing success.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
General Maintenance Technician,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and general repairs throughout the facility, diagnosing and addressing mechanical, building, or system-related issues to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
- Facility Systems Support: Maintain and troubleshoot key building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, sprinkler systems, fire systems, and air compressor systems as needed.
- Grounds & Facility Upkeep: Support overall facility maintenance including parking lot upkeep, snow removal, landscaping, painting, debris cleanup, and general building repairs.
In addition, you will also be expected to complete preventative maintenance tasks,
maintain
accurate
maintenance records, organize tools and supplies, and communicate maintenance needs and repair status clearly and professionally.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in building maintenance, apartment maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related hands-on maintenance role
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
Skills:
- General Maintenance Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve routine maintenance issues involving building systems, equipment, or facility infrastructure.
- Multi-System Maintenance Experience: Experience with HVAC, plumbing, minor electrical repairs, general building repairs, preventative maintenance, and overall facility upkeep preferred.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and communicate maintenance needs clearly and professionally.
