Location: Spring Lake, MI
Job Summary
We’re seeking a dependable Grinder to join a manufacturing team in Spring Lake, MI. In this role, you will assist with grinding and finishing metal parts to meet production and quality standards. This position plays an important role in supporting production while ensuring parts are properly finished and ready for the next stage of the manufacturing process.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Grinder, your core responsibilities will include:

Grind and finish metal parts using hand grinders and other tools

Remove excess material, burrs, and rough edges from manufactured parts

Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
In addition, you may assist with other general labor duties throughout the production area as needed.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous manufacturing or shop experience preferred

Previous grinding experience is a plus
Skills
-
Ability to safely operate hand tools and grinding equipment

Strong attention to detail when finishing parts
-
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when required
