Location: Wixom, MI Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) Pay: $20/hr
Job Summary
Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with a company that values hard work and craftsmanship? We are seeking a dependable Heavy Assembly associate to join our team in Wixom, MI. In this role, you'll assemble, test fit, and package products while ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment.
This is a full-time opportunity with overtime available as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Heavy Assembly Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
• Follow assembly instructions to build, test fit, and package products for shipment • Prepare shipping crates and foam dunnage according to specifications • Use basic shop tools, including impact drivers, nail guns, table saws, band saws, and other hand tools • Perform quality inspections during and after the assembly process • Accurately track finished products and report any defects • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Support production by completing additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• Previous assembly, construction, carpentry, or craftsman experience preferred • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently • Reliable attendance and dependable transportation • Ability to work a full 40-hour work week with overtime and Saturdays as needed
Skills:
• Experience using basic shop tools and hand tools • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Good communication and teamwork skills • Strong work ethic and reliability
