Location: Zeeland, MI
Shift: 6:15 AM–5:45 PM | 4, 10-hour shifts with rotating days Monday–Friday
Pay: $19.00–$20.00/hour

Job Summary
We're looking for a dependable and safety-focused Hi-lo Driver to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll safely transport raw materials and finished furniture components throughout the facility to support paint line operations and maintain production flow. The ideal candidate has previous hi-lo (forklift) experience, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to quality and workplace safety.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Hi-lo Driver, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Material Transport: Safely move raw materials, finished furniture parts, and production supplies throughout the facility using a hi-lo.
  • Production Support: Deliver materials to and remove finished products from the paint line to maintain a smooth production flow.
  • Product Handling: Carefully transport and stage finished furniture components to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
  • Loading & Staging: Organize and stage materials in designated areas to support production schedules and shipping needs.
  • Equipment Operation: Perform routine equipment inspections and safely operate the hi-lo according to company safety policies and procedures.
In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • Previous hi-lo (forklift) experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work four 10-hour shifts with rotating workdays Monday–Friday.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Skills
  • Hi-lo Operation: Ability to safely operate a forklift while transporting materials throughout the facility.
  • Attention to Detail: Handle finished products carefully to maintain quality standards.
  • Material Handling: Ability to efficiently organize, stage, and transport materials to support production.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with production team members to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Work Ethic: Dependability and the ability to maintain a steady production pace.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to following all safety procedures and safe forklift operating practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and climb on and off a hi-lo repeatedly.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining production pace.
