We're looking for a dependable Hi-Lo Driver to join our manufacturing team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll operate a hi-lo to transport materials, stage products, and supply production areas while helping maintain an efficient and organized manufacturing environment. This position requires both indoor and outdoor hi-lo operation in varying weather conditions. What You'll Be Doing As a Hi-Lo Driver, your core responsibilities will include: Hi-Lo Operation: Safely operate a hi-lo to transport materials and products throughout the facility and outdoor areas. Material Handling: Move, stage, and organize raw materials, components, and finished products. Production Support: Deliver materials to production areas to ensure team members have the supplies needed to maintain production flow. Indoor & Outdoor Material Movement: Operate the hi-lo both inside and outside the facility in varying weather conditions. Product Handling: Safely transport materials while preventing product damage and maintaining quality standards. Inventory Organization: Place materials in designated locations and assist with maintaining accurate and organized inventory. Production Assistance: Assist with general material handling and production duties when not operating the hi-lo. Equipment & Work Area Maintenance: Perform basic equipment checks and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. In addition, you will follow all company safety procedures, communicate with production team members, and assist in other areas based on business needs. What We're Looking For Qualifications Previous hi-lo or forklift operating experience required. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred. Must be comfortable operating a hi-lo outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed. Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stage materials. Ability to read and follow simple instructions, correspondence, and work orders in English. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Skills Hi-Lo Operation: Ability to safely and efficiently operate powered industrial equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments. Material Handling: Ability to move, stage, and organize materials while preventing damage. Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure materials are delivered to and stored in the correct locations. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify basic material handling or production issues and assist with solutions. Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work effectively with production and warehouse team members. Safety Awareness: Commitment to safe equipment operation and following company safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds as needed. Ability to sit and operate a hi-lo for extended periods. Ability to frequently climb on and off equipment throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform material handling duties as needed. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, and other seasonal conditions. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
