Job Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in both administrative and human resources functions? We’re seeking an  Administration & HR professional  in  Troy, MI , to manage office operations, vendor relationships, payroll, and HR activities. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day business operations while ensuring employee management and compliance with company policies.
 
What You'll Be Doing
As an  Administration & HR professional,  your responsibilities will include:
 
Administration Responsibilities:
  • Managing supplier and vendor bills.
  • Handling company credit and financial transactions.
  • Updating requisition forms and ordering office and warehouse supplies.
  • Requesting quotes for new purchases and preparing reports.
  • Maintaining contracts and agreements.
  • Overseeing landlord and building care issues.
  • Creating payment requests for vendor bills.
  • Updating and tracking expense reports.
  • Submitting MBE status monthly for customers.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
  • Managing employee records and personnel files.
  • Booking and recording working hours.
  • Calculating and managing payroll and employee benefits.
  • Managing contracted employees and staffing companies.
  • Administering employee contracts.
  • Overseeing recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  • Updating job descriptions and managing resumes.
  • Providing basic policy information, guidance, and training to staff.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in administration and/or HR required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and HR best practices
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and office operations
