Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Industrial Sewer to join our team in Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, or Goshen, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping produce high-quality stitched products for RV, automotive, marine, and manufacturing clients.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Industrial Sewer, your core responsibilities will include:
Operating industrial sewing machines: Sew materials such as fabric, vinyl, and upholstery components used in manufacturing products.
Producing finished sewn components: Assemble and stitch items such as seat covers, restraint systems, upholstery pieces, and interior liners according to specifications.
Maintaining product quality: Inspect seams, stitching, and alignment to ensure finished products meet required quality standards.
In addition, you will also be expected to organize materials, maintain a clean workstation, and assist production teams in meeting daily manufacturing goals.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous industrial sewing or sewing machine experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs as needed
Skills:
Industrial Sewing Machine Operation: Ability to operate sewing machines safely and efficiently while producing consistent results.
Attention to Detail: Ensures stitching quality, seam strength, and finished product appearance meet required standards.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Strong coordination is necessary for accurate stitching and consistent production output.
