Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking an
Industrial Sewer
to join our team in
Grand Rapids, MI
. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to
cut, sew and assemble materials to produce various products.
What You'll Be Doing
As an
Industrial Sewer
, your core responsibilities will include:
●
Operate and tend equipment to cut, sew, assemble and adjust machine functions as necessary using dials, pedals, levers, panel buttons, etc.
●
Monitor quality throughout the shift by inspecting each part before and after it is produced for dirt, debris, and quality
.
●
Understand the handling of product and proper methods of cutting, and stitching according to guidelines, or supervisor’s instructions
.
In addition, you will also be expected to
keep supplies readily available and organized
.
Count, sort, and stack finished work pieces and dispose of waste material.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
●
Must be able to pass a
sewing test.
●
6 months previous industrial sewing manufacturing experience.
●
Ability to read and understand patterns, prints and a tape measure.
Skills:
●
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
● Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings as needed.
●
Industrial sewing is a must.
