Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Thermodeburring & Pump Assembly Operator to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our manufacturing operations, ensuring hydraulic pumps meet quality standards before final shipment to our supplier or GR facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Thermodeburring & Pump Assembly Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Thermodeburring Operations: Wash parts, run wash and burn cycles through the deburring furnace, and monitor parts through the thermoburn process to ensure proper deburring.
- Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect pumps and components after the thermoburn stage to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Assembly & Packaging: Assemble hydraulic pumps prior to final shipment and package completed parts for shipping to the supplier or GR facility.
In addition, you will also be expected to work in a department that may be hotter and louder than other areas and assist with heavier lifting as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift heavier components as needed
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Important for inspecting parts and ensuring high-quality finished products.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Helpful for assembling hydraulic pumps and understanding manufacturing processes.
- Dependability & Teamwork: Essential for maintaining production flow and working safely with others.
