Job Summary
Are you a dependable, detail-oriented individual looking for an opportunity in a clean and organized work
environment? We're seeking a Janitor to join our team in Norton Shores, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for
maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout office areas, common spaces, and potentially warehouse areas.
The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleanliness
and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Janitor, your core responsibilities will include:
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout offices, breakrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, countertops, desks, and frequently touched areas.
• Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste.
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom necessities.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties in warehouse areas as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
In addition, you will be expected to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility for employees and visitors.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal cleaning instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a consistent cleaning schedule.
