This is a
Temp-to Hire
position.
As a
Kitchen Cook,
this position helps support the kitchen operations.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with all the necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking.
- Preparing meals: Cooking, baking, steaming, boiling, and grilling various foods, such as meats, vegetables, fish, poultry
- Following recipes: measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Ensuring food quality: preparing quality food according to company recipes.
- Assisting other
cooks
helping to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain food safety: following food health and safety procedures.
- Strong Counting Skills
- Counts need to be accurate
.
- Can work Independently
.
- Can move quickly with efficiency
.
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
.
- Ensure all goods and other items are stored properly
.
- Check quality of ingredients
- Ability to move between tasks
.
- Able to work with your hands
.
Skills
:
- Ability to perform very repetitive motions
.
- Able to lift 30 lbs. throughout the shift
.
- Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours and ability to move between tasks
.
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-Motivated
