Landscape Designer
Location: Scottville, MI
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a creative and detail-oriented professional looking to bring outdoor spaces to life? We’re seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to design functional and visually appealing landscapes, using your design expertise and horticultural knowledge to turn ideas into reality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Meeting with clients on-site to understand their vision and assess property conditions
- Taking site measurements and gathering necessary details for accurate designs
- Creating landscape designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Preparing project estimates using online estimating tools
- In addition, you will also be expected to manage projects after sale, including communicating with clients and overseeing installation crews to ensure designs are executed properly.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year of experience in landscape design, sales, or estimating preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Skills:
- Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong knowledge of plants, landscaping materials, and environmental conditions
- Ability to estimate project costs and manage multiple projects effectively
