Laser Operator
Location: Norton Shores, MI Pay: $20+/hour
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and comfortable working around production equipment? We're seeking a Laser Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll operate laser cutting equipment and support production by producing parts that meet quality and dimensional requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
Operate laser cutting equipment according to work instructions and production requirements.
Load and unload materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed parts for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment or quality concerns as needed.
In addition, you will help maintain a clean and organized work area and support other production tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Prior laser operation experience is helpful but not required.
Previous machine operation, CNC, or similar manufacturing experience will also be considered.
Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Skills:
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Basic measuring and math skills.
Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
