A locally based manufacturer specializing in custom fabrication, laser cutting, welding, and tool design is seeking a Laser Operator
to join their growing team on 1st Shift. Hours are 5:00am–3:00pm (Monday–Thursday) with overtime as required. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a clean, comfortable facility where you’ll be part of a team focused on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Laser Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and part quality.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, micrometers, and calipers to verify accuracy.
- Troubleshooting machinery to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Loading and operating Press Brake machines and removing finished parts into bins or boxes.
- Maintaining production flow by working in a fast-paced environment and meeting established quotas.
- Following safety and operational standards to ensure a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience with Press Brake machines recommended
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers required
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical issues
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
