Workbox Staffing is hiring a Textile Restoration Technician in North Charleston. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.
Qualifications:
● No experience required – willing to train the right candidate
● Able to pay close attention to detail and read care labels to determine proper cleaning processes
● Tech-savvy and able to learn a mobile inventory app while performing processing tasks
● Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the day
● Able to stand on concrete floors for the entire shift
● Comfortable working in a non-airconditioned environment
● Comfortable working with textiles affected by fire and/or water damage
● Able to work independently and maintain productivity
● Able to pay close attention to detail and read care labels to determine proper cleaning processes

Skills & Responsibilities:
● Separate and prioritize RUSH items
● Sort dry cleaning, specialty care, and bulk laundry items
● Read care labels and sort clothing by color and fabric type
● Carefully sort, clean, dry, and fold textiles according to training guidelines
● Hand-clean specialty items when required
● Operate commercial washers and dryers using proper formulas
● Fold and package cleaned textiles according to company standards
● Photograph finished items using company-provided cellphone
● Maintain a steady pace while ensuring quality standards are met
● Work well with team members and communicate effectively
