Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and separate linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use proper cleaning agents and follow established procedures to maintain quality.
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report issues to the supervisor.
- Fold, stack, and store clean linens in designated storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory and keep track of laundry supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced hotel setting.
- Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.
- Requires wearing appropriate protective equipment as needed.
The Laundry Worker is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items are properly cleaned, dried, folded, and stored according to hotel standards. This role helps maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests by delivering high-quality laundry services.
