Machine Operator, $19.00/hour - Grand Haven, MI

Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions with the ability to write simple correspondence and work orders
- Must be able to interpret math problems, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure
- Will be required to use a tape measure down to the 32nd
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to comfortably lift between 50-80 pounds consistently throughout the shift
- Must feel comfortable and confident inspecting glass at each stage of the process, and communicate issues with the supervisor
Skills:
- Ability to safely operate machines
- Able to lift parts repetitively
- Reposition work as needed
- Ability to inspect parts for defects
A local company specializing in both ferrous and non-ferrous castings, forgings, bar stock, and burnouts is looking for Machine Operators to join their 3rd Shift growing team! Hours are 6:30 pm-5:00 am (Monday-Thursday.) Overtime may be required. Will be operating production machinery to cut, edge, and fabricate parts.
